The University’s Academy of Global Health received 10 fully funded scholarships through five online master’s programs in global health.

Citizens and residents of one of the following Commonwealth developing countries: Bangladesh, Cameroon, Eswatini, Ghana, Guyana, India, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Samoa, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Sierra Leone, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Tanzania, Gambia, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Uganda and Zambia

Value and inclusion of scholarships:

The scholarship includes all tuition fees and resources to improve student participation, access and research skills. This includes participation in a summer school, a contribution to the cost of Internet access and printing for students (newspaper articles, etc.) and a contribution to the costs of the Master of Science project (equipment, travel, etc.).

Eligibility :

Scholarships will be awarded to an applicant whose admission to an eligible program is accepted (see above) and who is a citizen and resident of one of the following Commonwealth developing countries.

Application instructions :

Please note that you will need to apply to the University of Edinburgh and receive an offer of a place in one of the eligible programs (see above and the related links below) in order to be eligible for funding through this award.

Applications must be submitted through the Commonwealth Scholarships Commission’s Electronic Application System (EAS). The deadline for applications is 22 March 2019 at 12 noon, Paris time.
